All you have to do is bring us your voucher and we will give you your punch card, which you may then use at any of our camps. But you have to get your voucher in by the deadline.

Lion’s Pride is Taking a Quick Summer Break

Lion’s Pride is blowin’ town for a bit. Melvin is headed to Virginia for a special training camp and PJ is hittin’ the road with the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls, so our next boot camps won’t be until Saturday, July 28. Enjoy this little summertime break ’cause we’re gonna hit it hard upon return!

When we do get back, join us at 9 a.m. for our high-intensity Full Pride Boot Camp at Commons Park or our 10:15 a.m. moderate intensity Boot Camp 101 at Commons Park in Denver at 16th and Little Raven. If you haven’t been to an outdoor camp yet, don’t miss out!

Remember, if you bring a friend, their first camp is only $5.

We’re Moving Outdoors for the Summer/Fall Boot Camp Season!

We’re headed outside to enjoy one of Denver’s most beautiful urban parks for our boot camps. Join us for ALL camps at Commons Park, 1505 Platt Street, Denver CO, 80202, and take in beautiful cityscapes in this incredible park that offers hills, trails, stairs, rocks and other wonderful amenities for the Lion’s Pride camper!

There is free parking, restrooms at the park, and wonderful businesses that offer healthy fare for an after-camp snack!

We’re excited to get these camps back out into the fresh Colorado air for the season.

Of course, all LPT camp coupons and deals will be honored.

Lion’s Pride boot camps are designed to push your boundaries to help you improve your strength and endurance. They are great tools to kick start weight loss, as well! Your will be so proud of your accomplishment after each hour of boot camp.

We have two options available in Denver outdoors in the summer and fall. Boot Camp 101 is offered at 6:30 p.m. on Monday and Thursday and at noon on Tuesdays. The class is great for beginner and intermediate levels, men and women, and anyone 14 and older. Every class is different and challenging as Melvin leads you through rigorous routines meant to help you quickly reach your fitness goals. These classes are also lots of fun and great for bonding among friends and family.

Saturdays at 9 a.m. we offer the Full Pride Boot Camp. Like Boot Camp 101, Melvin keeps each of these camps different and interesting. But be ready to work. The goal is to survive. If you have to drop out for a moment, do so, and jump back in. No one gets through these without small breaks. These camps torch calories, rev your metabolism, and will have you bragging to your friends about your incredible accomplishments.

Lion’s Pride is Making Big Moves

Lion’s Pride Training is making some big moves this winter and we hope you’ll join us. While we plan to announce a major expansion soon, you can find us at LA Boxing in Westminster offering personal training and boot camps as Lion’s Pride Training @ LA Boxing. This beautiful, friendly facility will allow Melvin to add a new dimension to your training.

Meanwhile, LPT is a contributing articles to, a community with a mission to encourage Coloradans to get fit and healthy. So far we’ve published two articles, but are signed on to regularly contribute. Please follow our friends at fit5280 at!/Fit5280.

Our calendar has been updated with some boot camps available through the holidays to allow you to fight off those pounds that tend to sneak on with an abundance of celebratory foods.

Colorado’s Autumn weather is gorgeous and getting out to the park to enjoy it on Saturday mornings is just what the doctor ordered!

Melvin picked up a few new tricks at his recent training with world-famous trainer Shaun T and is enjoying putting those new lessons through the paces with his personal training clients. He has designed a boot camp series to spread the love. The camps are designed as a drop-in series with the first beginning at 9 a.m. on Sept. 17 at Squires Park in Westminster, Colo., and continuing each Saturday, same time, same place for six weeks!

When: 9 a.m. Saturdays beginning Sept. 17
Where: Squires Park, 3450 W. 99th Avenue, Westminster, CO
Why: This is going to push you to the next level, off plateaus, and will make you proud of your accomplishments.

Melvin Williams is *your* trainer.

Whether you are just beginning your fitness journey or want to take your body and game to the next level, Melvin will find and push your limits to help you realize your goals.

Your individual needs and goals are paramount as Melvin tailors your training regiment and then drives and inspires your progress. Bringing years of experience and education to the table, Melvin also has the wisdom of a great teacher and passion of a great coach and partners with you as you commit together to achieve.

Melvin is certified AAAI/ISMA personal trainer, boot camp instructor, and Zumba instructor. He is a former Virginia police officer who taught defensive tactics to other officers and served on the riot and mountain bike squads. Melvin has earned his third-degree blue belt in kickboxing and has completed Stride training certification with celebrity trainer Shaun T. Melvin constantly works to improve his own training so your training is kept up to date.

Lion’s Pride offers personal or small group training and boot camps.

Lion’s Pride Training also wants you to have access to your trainer and his advice for you between your sessions. Ask questions about workouts, nutrition, supplements or anything else and get quick, competent answers from the man who knows your goals and your current physical abilities.
